The Engineering Equipment and Material Users Association 145 flange is one of the copper-nickel standards. The EEMUA 145 Flange is designed with copper, nickel, and ferrous as their primary constituents. These flanges work well in severe and critical conditions in pressurized systems. EEMUA 145 Solid Flanges are employed to connect pipes, tubes, valves, and other equipment in the system. These flanges are strengthened and are available in sizes of 1/8 to 4 NB. The 7060x Flange has good corrosion resistance properties and is available in classes 150 lbs to 9000 lbs. These flanges are designed in standard schedules of SCH 5 to SCH 160 and XXS.
The EEMUA 145 flange is designed in different shapes and specifications. An EEMUA 145 Slip-on Flange is slid on the pipe and is welded using one or more fillet welds. These flanges are available at reasonable prices and can handle low pressures and temperatures. The EEMUA 145 Composite Flanges are designed with an inner copper flange or a collar, with carbon outer flange covering. These flanges have good anti-corrosion properties and are used in shipbuilding applications. An EEMUA 145 Composite Weld Neck Flanges is recognized by a long protruding hub that allows them to relieve stress from the piping system. These flanges are preferred in repeated bending applications. The UNS 7060x Weld Neck Flange is seen in elevated pressure and temperature conditions. These flanges are also suitable for sub-zero conditions. An EEMUA 145 UNS 7060x Blind Flange doesn’t possess any bore to the center. These flanges help act as blanks and helpto terminate the flow of media in the system. These flanges curtail the flow of high-pressure media. They are easy to install and can be readily dismantled.
